Day 1- Arrival at Delhi

Welcome at the airport and transfer to hotel. Afternoon, start tour of Old Delhi with drive to Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Then visit Red Fort. Enjoy a rickshaw ride along the alleys of ancient bazaar of Chandni Chowk with stop at Jama masjid, the largest mosque in Asia. Return to hotel. Overnight stay

Day 02: Delhi – Agra (200 KM, 4 Hours)

After breakfast, drive to Agra and upon arrival check in at hotel. Later city tour of Agra which was once the capital of Mughal India and centre of great power and glory. Visit world famous “Taj Mahal”, the monument of love immortalized in marble. It was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his Queen Mumtaj. While the arch-and-dome profile of clean white marble has become iconic, other beauties lie in the Taj Mahal’s painstaking details: inlaid semiprecious stones and carvings and Koranic verse in calligraphy create an enchanting interior space. Then visit Agra Fort which was built by Emperor Akbar. He was undoubtedly the Greatest Mughal Emperor of India. The construction of Agra fort commenced in the 1565 and completed in 1571. Built with red sandstone Agra Fort is a mixture of the Islamic and Hindu styles of architecture. Later visit Sikandra. The tomb of the great Mughal emperor Akbar is a mixture of many architectural styles and completely different from earlier Mughal Buildings. Overnight stay.

Day 03: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Abha Neri – Jaipur (260 KM, 6 Hours)

After breakfast, departure to Jaipur enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri, undoubtedly the best-preserved Mughal Palace city of all, built by Great Akbar around 1570. He used highest quality craftsman to construct the city only to abandon it some fourteen years later when it is said that the water system failed.
Next stop is at small village of Abhaneri has one of India’s deepest and largest step wells (also known as tank gardens). Step wells are unique to India. They were used as cool places of resort, as pools for ritual cleansing before a temple visit and as a water supply for dry weather. Continue drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival and check in at hotel.
In the evening, get ready for a visit to Indian Home for a cooking demonstration and enjoy a meal with Indian Family. This will also give you an opportunity to have a chit chat with locals and give you insight about Indian traditions and way of life. Overnight stay.

Day 04: Jaipur

Morning excursion to Amer Fort. Ascend by painted elephant up to fort with its huge gateways and pillared pavilions. The fort was originally built by Raja Mansingh and is one of the finest examples of Rajput Architecture. Visit the chambers and hallways of the Palace which are famous for their design and decoration. Afternoon city tour of Jaipur visiting City Palace and its museums. Nearby is the ornate Hawa Mahal (Palace of winds) which is five stories high and is decorated with delicate screens carved from stone which allowed royal ladies to view the city and bazaar from there. Also visit Jantar Mantar, magnificent stone observatory built in 1728. This is still equipped with immense brick and mortar instrument including a very accurate 90 feet sundial. Overnight stay.

Day 05: Jaipur – Delhi (260 KM, 5 Hours)

After breakfast drive to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, we check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day is free for last minute shopping or independent activities. A car and driver will remain at your disposal for the entire day. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 06: Delhi

After breakfast, we transfer to the Delhi airport to catch the flight for onward destination
